Felt Right 3D Acoustic Boxes add dimensional sound absorption to creator spaces, podcast rooms, livestream setups, video studios, offices, and shared work areas. Their box design helps reduce echo, soften reflections, and create a more controlled environment for recording, editing, meetings, and everyday work.
Choose from two depths depending on your space and acoustic needs. The 2-inch depth offers an NRC rating of 0.80, while the 4-inch depth offers a coefficient of 1.1 for stronger absorption.
The boxes ship flat and assemble with the included clasps, making installation simple and approachable. They’re easy to handle, easy to place, and designed to help you upgrade your space without a complicated buildout.

How many boxes do I need?
As a rough guide, a 10×10 room typically needs 4–6 sets for noticeable improvement. Focusing boxes behind your desk and on the wall you face gives the biggest impact per set.
What’s the difference between 2 inch and 4 inch depth?
The 4 inch depth reaches an NRC of 1.1 — absorbing more than 100% of direct sound energy at certain frequencies due to diffusion. The 2 inch version achieves NRC 0.85, which still outperforms any flat panel. For dedicated recording spaces, we recommend 4 inch.
Will this soundproof my room?
These panels treat acoustics inside your room — reducing echo, reverberation and reflection — rather than blocking outside sound. For most creators this is exactly what’s needed: a cleaner, more controlled sound that records and mixes well.
Is this a permanent installation?
Yes — 3D Acoustic Boxes install with adhesive tape or drywall screws. If you want flexibility, check out our wood slat panels which can be removed more easily.
How long does shipping take?
Felt Right 3D Acoustic Boxes are cut to order and typically ship within 5–7 business days. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days.
What is your return policy?
Because each order is custom cut to your selected color and size, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds. We recommend ordering a sample kit before committing to a full order if you’re unsure about color.
