Are you ever bothered by low quality audio on YouTube or social? Audio is often the last thing creators have time to focus on, but it’s one of the first reasons audiences tune out. Inconsistent levels, background noise, echo, or audio that isn’t optimized for the platform can quietly cost you viewers, listeners, and watch time, even when the content itself is strong. Good audio keeps people engaged. Bad audio gives them a reason to leave. And editing and mixing it yourself is time consuming and difficult to get right.

Wavely exists so you don’t have to think about any of that. Shop expert-recommended gear and acoustic solutions for your space, then hand off your audio for professional post. All in one place.

Wavely’s mix engineers bring 50+ years of combined experience across broadcast, film, commercial, and digital content. With a combination of cutting edge processing and expert audio engineers, Wavely delivers fast, consistent and professional sound. Focus on your content. We’ll handle the audio. No inflated budgets. No guesswork. Just clean, consistent, platform-ready sound delivered quickly.

Use Cases

Great podcasts live or die by their audio. But between recording, editing, publishing, and promotion, audio post often gets rushed, or skipped entirely.

Wavely delivers clean, consistent, broadcast-ready podcast audio without slowing your release schedule. We handle noise cleanup, level balancing, and platform optimization so every episode sounds professional and comfortable to listen to.

Outcome: Better listener retention, fewer listener drop-offs, less time spent worrying about sound.

Audio is often the #1 engagement factor.  Viewers are 2-3x more likely to stop watching when audio is poor, even if video looks good.  Around 60-70% of viewers will tolerate lower video quality, but won’t tolerate bad audio.

Wavely helps YouTube creators deliver clear, balanced audio that holds attention and translates across devices. Our streamlined workflow keeps turnaround fast, so you don’t sacrifice quality to stay on schedule.

Outcome: Higher watch time, better viewer experience, professional polish without extra steps.

Social content moves fast, and audio issues slow everything down.

Wavely helps brand and social teams publish clean, platform-ready audio at speed. Our workflow removes friction, shortens turnaround, and ensures consistency and polish across content without adding internal overhead.

Outcome: Faster publishing, consistent sound, less back-and-forth across teams.

Not every project needs a full traditional audio post pipeline, but it still needs to sound right.

Wavely offers a reliable, cost-effective audio post solution for corporate videos, internal content, and streamlined productions. We integrate easily into existing workflows and deliver consistent results without extended review cycles.

Outcome: Predictable pricing, fast delivery, professional sound without post bottlenecks.

FAQ

I'm not sure which option to pick. Simple mix, standard mix or complete mix?

If you're unsure which option is right for you, contact us and we'll let you know. If none of the options is a perfect fit for your project, we can also create a custom quote.

What do I need to upload?

Just your audio and video files. Check out our delivery guidelines page for specific upload requirements based on your editing software. If there’s anything special we need to know, you can include notes at checkout, but most projects don’t require additional direction.

Will this work for my platform (podcast, YouTube, social)?

Yes. All mixes are delivered optimized for where your content will be published. Let us know which platforms your content will be published on, and we'll supply an optimized file for each.

How long does it take?

Turnaround time depends on length, but most mixes are delivered within one to two business days. Rush delivery is available if you’re on a deadline.

I create a lot of content. Do you offer retainers or subscriptions?

Yes, if you'd like to purchase a bundle of mixes or work on a subscription/retainer plan, contact us and we'll create a custom plan tailored to your needs.

Is this meant for creators only?

Wavely is built with creators and podcasters in mind, but it also works well for corporate videos, branded content, and simple production workflows that need professional audio without a traditional post pipeline.

How long will you keep my files?

We will store your files for 30 days from the completion of your mix just in case something comes up you'd like us to fix. After 30 days, your files will be deleted from out system.

Do I need to know anything about audio?

No. That’s the point. Upload your files and we’ll take it from there.

File Delivery Guidelines

To get the best results from Wavely, please follow the export guidelines below. Don’t worry, this is simpler than it sounds, and if something isn’t right, we’ll let you know.

When possible, we prefer one video file + an AAF. If your software doesn’t support AAF or OMF exports, audio stems work great too.

Preferred Delivery (Best Option)

If your editing software supports it, please upload:

  • One video file
    • .mp4 or .mov
    • Include the full edit with picture locked
  • One AAF file
    • Audio only
    • Embedded or linked media is fine
    • No need to consolidate unless your software requires it

This gives us the most flexibility and ensures the best possible mix.

If Your Software Doesn’t Export AAF / OMF

No problem. Please export isolated audio stems instead.

Audio Stem Guidelines
  • Export each speaker or mic as its own file
  • Include:
    • Dialogue / voice tracks
    • Music (separate from dialogue)
    • Sound effects (if applicable)
  • Files should:
    • Start at the same timecode
    • Be the same length
    • Be unprocessed (no compressors, limiters, or noise reduction if possible)

Accepted formats: .wav or .aiff
